Cookie Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-07
Bloom uses exactly one cookie, and it's strictly necessary for the service to work.
This page is an engineering-drafted template, not a substitute for legal review. Sections marked [LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED] below contain placeholders — entity name, jurisdiction, and governing law — that must be confirmed before this page is relied on as a real legal agreement.
The one cookie we set
A session cookie, set when you log in, used only to keep you signed in. It is:
httpOnly— never readable by JavaScript, reducing exposure to cross-site scripting.- Not used for advertising, tracking, or analytics.
- Cleared when you log out, or expires automatically after your session ends.
What we don't use
Bloom does not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts today — verified directly against the codebase, not asserted from policy alone. Because the only cookie we set is strictly necessary for the service to function, no cookie-consent banner is shown; strictly necessary cookies don't require opt-in consent under GDPR/ePrivacy rules.
If this changes — for example, if Bloom adds product analytics in the future — this page and Bloom's consent mechanism will be updated together, not silently.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will sign you out of Bloom, since the session cookie is required to stay logged in.
